We call back to confirm the visit. You get a text the day before and the day of, with a photo of the technician who's coming. On site, we find what failed and write out the price, and nothing gets repaired until you approve it.
If you smell gas or a CO alarm goes off, leave the house and call PECO or 911 from outside first. If the heater is leaking, close the cold-water valve on the pipe at the top of it, then call us.
